Show room opens at 7 am, Check-In will begin shortly after, Judging will start at 9 am sharp.

Sanctioned Breeds: If you do not see your breed sanctioned there is still time. Contact Tresa Hutchison (youth secretary NOW). Breed sanctions are for National Club Sweepstakes Points. If you would like to sponsor a breed sanction, contact Brandy Burroughs Dunn or myself. For current, up-to-date national club information and cost of sanctioning your chosen breed, please go to www.arba.net/nati_specialty.htm . Breeds with an active Certificate of Development (C.O.D.) are welcome please bring a copy of their working standard and provide it to the judge.  
 All breeds may be shown regardless of being sanctioned or not. 
 Californian, Dutch, English Lop/French Lop, Flemish Giant, Florida White, Angoras (O/Y), Harlequin (O/Y), Himalayan, Holland Lop, Jersey Wooly, Lion Head, Mini Rex, Mini Satin/Satin, Netherland Dwarf, Polish, Palomino, Rex, Tan, Giant Chinchilla (open) and Blanc de Hotots (open)
The following AWARDS will be offered for both open/youth: BIS, RIS, BOB, BOSB
Raffle: New or gently used donations are always appreciated. Table items must be placed by 9 AM. Any rabbits donated must have pedigrees and no disqualifications! Rabbits are to be left with the Show Secretary in the exhibitor’s carriers for selection. Any rabbits not selected and carriers of those selected will be available for pick up after 1pm. Raffle winners will be drawn at 1 PM.
 Registrar: A registrar will be available, please bring rabbit(s) and or cavies, a copy off the complete pedigree, your ARBA card, and $6.  
SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS This Catalog is subject to change at the discretion of the show committee.

1. This show will conform to all ARBA Show rules. This is a rabbit and cavy show. There will be no other animals allowed in showroom. Parents are responsible for their children. Please keep an eye on them. Playing in or around buildings will not be allowed. No roller blades, skateboards, bicycles or scooters allowed.

2. The Show Committee reserves the right to add or substitute judges. The decision of the Show Committee as to the placing of the breeds on a judge’s table will be final. No changes will be made at the show tables. All changes must be made at the Secretary’s table before the start of judging for that breed. Entry will be forfeited as according to ARBA rules

3. All animals must have a legible tattoo or ear tag. Animals not properly earmarked will be eliminated from the show and no entry fee refunded.

4. Exhibitors attempting to or actually interfering with, annoying, molesting, influencing a judge or acting in an unbecoming manner will be rejected and barred from the show. All entry fees will be forfeited.

5. This is a carrying cage show. All carriers/cages must have solid bottoms or trays. You are responsible for cleaning up your area before leaving. THERE WILL BE NO DUMPING OF CARRIER PANS IN THE TRASH CANS!! VIOLATORS WILL BE FINED!!

6. Any animals showing signs of disease (including fleas, mites, worms, etc.) must be removed by exhibitor from the showroom upon request by the Show Committee and the entry fees will be forfeited. No breeding allowed in the showroom. Absolutely no baby rabbits less than 12 weeks of age in the showroom for sale.

7. There will be no alcoholic beverages allowed in the showroom or on the show grounds. There will be NO SMOKING in the show area. All fire lanes must remain clear. This rule will be strictly enforced. Please park in designated areas.

8. In the event a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, there will be a $50.00 bank charge. All checks must be made good or entries will be forfeited and left off all show reports. In the event you email your entries and do not show, you will still be held responsible for those entry fees and will receive a bill. If you do not pay the entry fees, you will not be able to show at future DRCBA shows until this matter is taken care of.

9. The Delmarva Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association, members of the Talbot Agricultural Center and its Board members will not be responsible for fire, theft, injury, accident, or providential loss, but every precaution will be taken. You may leave animals overnight at the show site, but PLEASE understand this is AT YOUR OWN RISK. The Delmarva Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association club members, families and friends, as well as the Talbot Agriculture & Education Center WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for Loss, Damage, etc. IF YOU CHOOSE TO LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS AND Supplies OVERNIGHT at the show location!!!!

10. To keep the show running smoothly, please have your rabbits and or cavies up to the table when they are called the first time. The show committee and the judges have the right to utilize the “2 calls and you’re out” rule! After your breed has been called to the table there will be two (2) announcements made. After the second call for a class there will be a 2 minute allowance for rabbits to be brought to the judging table. When the time allowance expires the judging will begin. If your rabbit and or cavy is not at the table after the second announcement the judge will proceed and entry will be forfeited! Please let your fellow exhibitors know where your exhibits are so they can assist you with getting your rabbits & cavies to the show table in a timely fashion.

 Mail In Cavy/Rabbit: For a Single show the entry fee is $4.00; show your animal (2) times and the entry fee will be $7.00, Fur/Wool $2.00 per show. MUST BE POSTMARKED BY September 14, 2017.  PLEASE contact the appropriate show secretary (Melissa Deitrich for Open & All Cavy; Tresa Hutchison for Youth) for their address, if you would like to mail in your entry.
 Email Rabbit/Cavy: For a Single show the entry fee is $4.00; show your animal (2) times and the entry fee will be $7.00, Fur/Wool $2.00 per show. No later than Monday September 18, 2016 by 10pm! Check your EMAILED check-in sheets for mistakes!!!! Once judging has started, no changes can be made even if it’s the show secretary’s mistake.
*You will receive an Exhibitor Check- In Sheet via email for entries that have been received via mail or email! This will be your only copy of your entry. We will not be printing Exhibitor Check-In Sheets for you to go over on the day of the show. If a correction needs to be made, once we email you the Exhibitor Check-In Sheet please let us know ASAP, via email so the corrections can be fixed. These changes will made for free up until 9/20/17! Once the corrections have been corrected in the show program, we will email you another Exhibitor Check-In Sheet. If the show secretaries do not hear from you by 9/20/17 (we will be printing early Friday morning) we ASSUME that your entry is correct and will accept it as correct, any corrections after that will be charged the day of show entry. In other words., Please Check YOUR Email, and if there is a correction that needs to be made, please contact us via email. No changes will be allowed at the show table, per ARBA Rules!
 Youth may show in both open and youth, but not with the same animal.
 There will be a $1.00 fee per animal for Day of Show substitutions. Changes will be allowed only in the same breed, sex, variety, tattoo and class.
Day of Show entries and all changes must be made at the Show Secretary’s table. Exhibitors are solely responsible for getting their rabbits/cavies to the table when their breed/variety is called. Classes will be called a maximum of three (3) times after which judging will resume.
 If you are showing multiple breeds, please let others know where your animals are!

All cavies will be judged by an ARBA licensed cavy judge. All ARBA judges are required to verify permanent ear numbers, so no tape will be used.
The show committee reserves the right to amend or change these rules as necessary; having at all times the interest of the exhibitor and their animals in mind.
